We were desperately disappointed to have to cancel our spring children’s book festival, Big Dog, which was due to happen from 24-26 April at Moat Brae, Scotland’s National Children’s Centre for Literature.
So we are delighted to announce that in its place we will be running 10 days of free online children’s events, featuring authors who were scheduled to take part. The programme will be a mix of live-streamed events and specially recorded sessions.
Authors appearing include Alan Windram, Vivian French and Ross Mackenzie. We’ll be putting up details shortly, so watch this space. And please do sign up to our Big Dog mailing list, if you haven’t already, to receive updates on all our activities for children.
We are also currently running a creative writing competition for children in Dumfries & Galloway. Click below to find out about it. The closing date has been extended to 31 May 2020.
