Storm damage
23 September 2018
Astrid Jaekel had posted her art all over Wigtown, only to see much of it brought down by Storm Ali - before the festival had even started.
Undaunted, she printed off fresh copies of her show, If These Walls Could Talk, and set off round town with a little stepladder, to paste it up again.
This image, showing part of a greyhound, commemorates the old bookmakers, which stood on North Main Street in the 1990s.
Other images represent a lost tea room, pub, bakery, vegetable shop, fishmongers, and more.
