Not a single pair of eyes looked away from the stage, enraptured in historical information, Prit Buttar everyone!

When I first read the description for the book, I wasn’t entirely sure this would be my ideal scene, but when I tell you I was wrong! Prit Buttar displayed and presented his book ‘To Besiege a City’, taking today’s crowd by storm, giving us an insight into what these times were like, describing some of these horrific conditions and how people had to live their lives. As a history student myself it was thrilling to hear all this new information outwith school. I learned lots of new things and I would recommend this event to others, especially people into history and people who enjoy reading books- it was a great event overall!
